Cancellation Policy for Running Away
At Running Away, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our clients. To ensure fairness and clarity, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:
Booking Fee and Deposit
- A booking fee equal to 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, unless otherwise stated in your booking terms.
- This booking fee is refundable up until the published date at which deposits are due. After this date, the booking fee becomes non-refundable. If no date is published, a cancellation request can be made within 60 days of payment of your deposit. After this period, the booking fee becomes non-refundable.
Final Payment
- The remaining balance of your trip cost is due 60 days prior to the trip commencement date.
Cancellations
- Cancellations made after the deposit deadline, or more than 60 days after the payment of the deposit but more than 60 days prior to the trip commencement date are eligible for a refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit amount.
- Cancellations made within 60 days of the trip commencement date are non-refundable, as all payments at this stage are final.
Amendments and Exceptions
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, clients may contact us to discuss potential options. Any changes or exceptions are at the discretion of Running Away and may incur additional fees.
Your Rights Under Australian Law
This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If an issue arises, your rights under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act (2010) are unaffected by this policy.
