Meet Your Guide

Andrea is an Accredited Level 3 Performance Development Running Coach with Athletics Australia (Trail and Ultra) and endorsed by the Australian Trail and Ultra Running Association. In 2023 she was awarded the ‘Most Outstanding Fitness Service’ at the Local Business Awards, and in 2024 she received recognition in a NSW Parliamentary Hansard for contributions to community fitness. She’s a passionate and accomplished runner and an advocate for the middle and back of the pack.

Are the package prices per person?

No. The package price covers accommodation based on your selected apartment size. For example, a one-bedroom apartment covers two people, and you can then add race entries and extras as needed.

Do supporters and runners pay the same price?

Supporters will be covered by the cost of the chosen accommodation package and do not need to pay for a race entry. 

Is my deposit refundable?

Each tour will have its own T&Cs. Generally, deposits will be refundable up until a date at which the provider requires us to make all bookings final. We will share this date with you clearly during the booking process. After this date your deposit will not be refundable.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Each traveller in the booking is required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance at an additional cost. We do not permit you to participate in Running Away packages without this.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Please refer to our cancellation policy on the website for detailed information on refunds and rescheduling.

What if I have special dietary needs?

In the event that Running Away is hosting a meal as part of your package, we will do our utmost to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please inform us in advance, and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Can my partner/friend travel with me if they are not running?

Yes. Our packages welcome supporters and spectators.

What is included, and what’s not?

Generally, Running Away packages include accommodation at a race destination. You can modify your package to include the race of your choice, plus a few select additions. These are outlined in detail on each event page. Running Away does NOT provide flights or travel insurance, and travellers must make their own arrangements for these.
